What shall we do today? The usual, rule the world!

Bring on the ants.
Singularly we are nothing, some of us will succeed, but against the machine, most will fail and they will grind us down one by one. If we pop our heads up, they will crush us. They have the money, power and ears of the world. The publishing giants once had us over a barrel, now the worm has turned.
The soviets tried to plan their economy and found market forces too strong, we are those forces, now we are in the ascendancy, as the market crushed communism, we the self publishers will crush the giant publishers.
I’m a self publisher, my book(s) will be coming out very soon, they will be cheap, ($1.49) available all over the world and original. I can do this due to E-publishing with little cost I can shoot a small shot at the mega publishers. I alone will not win.
I am not alone, I stand with my Twitter buddies, and my facebook friends. We can stand together, we can review for each other, we can buy each other’s books, we can recommend great reads, we can create a massive machine of our own, made of millions of tiny cogs. Millions of publicists, millions of outlets and no extra cost.
I’m not setting up a club or a society, I’m asking for all self publishers to buy and read ‘their own’. There are first class novels out there for next to nothing, for less than a cup of coffee.
I’m asking you to support, the small ants, not the dinosaurs. Together we are a force with which they cannot compete, alone they will tread on us.
Rise brother and sister rise, read review, publish, self publish.

It makes me laugh!

‘Smiling, being happy and laughing are good for you, frowning and sadness bad.’ Who said that?
Me, I just did. Why? Because I believe it, and anyone who knows me knows I have a sense of humour for all occasions. Funerals included.
I watch ‘SpongeBob? Phineas and Ferb’ and any comedy aimed at kids, sometimes I laugh and at other times I see missed opportunities for pushing boundaries.
‘Drama is easy, comedy is hard.’ Another unknown quote, but so true. Comedy that makes people laugh depends on so many things, not least the reader. ‘One person's comedy is another’s drama’ That’s mine as well.
No, really, I’ve written a Youwriteon chart bestseller and received tremendous reviews. Then there was this one. ‘This is quirky yes but not sensible or realistic.’
Comedy, sensible and realistic, get real, this is a comedy for kids.
What am I saying? Well, over twenty excellent reviews, then this turd says comedy should be sensible and realistic, just like ‘Monty Python’, or ‘MR Bean.’.
So bare your audience in mind.
‘Whatever you do, don’t become a teenage girl.’ You know, never laugh and go around with a painted, solid face saying. 'That’s childish that is.’
Yes, at times my work is childish, so is comedy, we all loved being children; they laugh, they smile, they watch cartoons instead of famines, they would rather watch Mickey Mouse, than Michael Fish, they don’t care what the weather man says. They laugh when something is funny, not when their supposed to.
I want to be like that, that’s why I write.
Big Plug. My own brand of Comedy, Potatoes and all, ‘The Family Itch.’ Will be released on E-book in November. 1.49 dollars. Check it out, if you don’t smile, I won’t give you your money back. No really I won’t.
Quote. ‘Jersey potatoes, I can do better than that, I’ll grow them in my pants as well.’
Why are elephants large grey and wrinkled?
Because if they were small round and white, they’d be aspirins.
Be good, keep smiling and laugh don’t frown.
